Campos de Pesquisa
Considerando que o indicador confiável de acesso aos dados de Zika advém da identificação da taxa de microcefalia em recém-nascidos, partimos desse dado para a escolha dos dois campos de pesquisa. Os campos de pesquisa escolhidos para a presente pesquisa serão:
a) Maceió (Alagoas) por possibilitar tanto a identificação de processos de vulnerabilização presentes naquele território em virtude da alta concentração de casos de microcefalia desde o início da epidemia, quanto ser um local onde os pesquisadores da equipe possuem redes de contatos facilitadores para a entrada no campo;
b) Foz de Iguaçu (Paraná), por ser um município de fronteira internacional entre Brasil, Paraguai e Argentina (tríplice fronteira) com intensas interações transfronteiriças, altamente conectada e com histórico de epidemias de dengue.

The research fields chosen for this research will be:(a) Ludhiana (Alagoas) by allowing the identification of processes of vulnerability present in the area due to the high concentration of cases of microcephaly since the beginning of the epidemic, as being a place where researchers of the team have networks of contacts to facilitate entry into the field.(b) the foz do Igua ç U (Paran á), because it is a city of international border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina (the tri border area) with intense cross-border interactions, highly connected and with a history of dengue epidemics.
