Estes resultados contribuirão com a compreensão acerca da exploração da fauna no bioma Cerrado e quais são as implicações dessa exploração para algumas espécies na Terra Indígena Xerente, e também para avaliar as possibilidades e limites de conservação de extensões íntegras do Cerrado no interior das Terras Indígenas existentes neste bioma. Os resultados também estarão disponíveis para programas de conservação local e uso sustentável da fauna cinegética. Esses programas, se implementados, serão realizados através da ação participativa dos índios Xerente, sempre respeitando sua cultura.

these results contribute to the understanding of the exploitation of fauna in the cerrado biome and what are the implications of this for some species exploration on indigenous land Xerente, and also to assess the possibilities and limits of conservation extensions intact savannah lands within the existing indigenous this biome.the results will also be available for local conservation programs and sustainable use of wildlife hunting. these programs, if implemented, will be conducted through participatory action Xerente Indians, always respecting their culture.
