Objetivo desse artigo foi avaliar a viabilidade econômica do modelo de fazenda vertical de maneira a apurar suas receitas econômicas e sua intensidade sustentável. Os resultados apresentaram como um modelo viavelmente econômico e sustentável, assim como, inovador no achatamento das cadeias produtivas. A metodologia empregada por base de pesquisas bibliográficas. Uma das alternativas possíveis são as fazendas verticais, um modelo de produção de alimentos sustentável envolvendo a união do rural com o urbano.
