Ao final do experimento, constatamo

Ao final do experimento, constatamos que 4 feijões brotaram, sendo que 2 deles mofaram, isso se da ao fato de que a ausência de luz juntamente ao fato da umidade, gera o mofo! A semente se desenvolveu na ausência de luz enquanto durou suas reservas nutritivas. A plantinha estava crescendo totalmente branca pela falta de clorofila. Sem a luz, o feijão cresce até certo ponto, notamos que as sementes apesar de mais brancas, estavam crescendo bem rápido. E isso se dá ao fato de que as plantas no ambiente escuro crescem de maneira mais rápida pois procuram a luz do sol. A planta assume uma coloração esbranquiçada pois a clorofila presente em seu interior, devido a falta de luz, não funciona. As plantas necessitam de luz para se desenvolver e não para germinar.
Mesmo sem a fotossíntese, é possível que uma semente germine e cresça.
