Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar discussões sobre as questões de cuidado e educação em instituições de ensino de crianças de 0 a 3 anos de idade, pois, ao depararmos com a prática nas creches, notamos que há uma dificuldade em entrelaçar a ideia de cuidar e educar ao mesmo tempo. Quando falamos em profissionais de creche, boa parte das pessoas ainda entende como babás, isto é, exercem função de cuidadoras, lidando apenas com as relações de cuidado das crianças: higiene, alimentação e segurança. A creche para os leigos em educação é vista como uma instituição apenas de caráter assistencialista. Esta pesquisa foi elaborada com a intenção de mostrar a essas pessoas, que a creche é sim um espaço de Educação Infantil, onde o educador cuida e educa ao mesmo tempo.

This article aims to present discussions on the issues of education and care in teaching institutions of children 0-3 years of age, therefore in encountering practice in childcare, we note that there is a difficulty in weaving the idea of ​​caring and educate the same time. when we talk about childcare professionals, most people still understand how nannies, ieexercise function caregivers, dealing only with the relations of child care: hygiene, nutrition and safety. day care for the laity in education is seen as a welfare institution purposes only. this research was developed with the intention to show these people that the nursery is rather an infantile education, where the teacher cares for and educates at the same time.

This research was developed with the intention to show these people that daycare is an area of early childhood education, where the teacher cares for and educates at the same time.

The creche for the laity in education is seen as an institution only character of giving handouts.
