Os autores apontam que nem a biomed

Os autores apontam que nem a biomedicina solitariamente, nem a perspectiva social, nem muito menos a tecnologia isoladamente, conseguem enfrentar a complexidade posta pela relação entre ecossistema e saúde humana. Daí buscam definir o enfoque ecossistêmico como aquele que: “(...) tem por objetivo desenvolver novos conhecimentos sobre a relação saúde-ambiente, tendo como foco realidades concretas, de forma a permitir a implantação de ações apropriadas e saudáveis das pessoas e para as pessoas que aí vivem” (Gómez & Minayo, 2006, p. 8).
