Campos de Pesquisa
Considerando que o indicador confiável de acesso aos dados de Zika advém da identificação da taxa de microcefalia em recém-nascidos, partimos desse dado para a escolha dos dois campos de pesquisa. Os campos de pesquisa escolhidos para a presente pesquisa serão:
a) Maceió (Alagoas) por possibilitar tanto a identificação de processos de vulnerabilização presentes naquele território em virtude da alta concentração de casos de microcefalia desde o início da epidemia, quanto ser um local onde os pesquisadores da equipe possuem redes de contatos facilitadores para a entrada no campo;
b) Foz de Iguaçu (Paraná), por ser um município de fronteira internacional entre Brasil, Paraguai e Argentina (tríplice fronteira) com intensas interações transfronteiriças, altamente conectada e com histórico de epidemias de dengue.
