As medidas da contaminação interna são realizadas pelo Laboratório de Monitoração In Vivo (LMIV) e os resultados são analisados pelo Grupo de Cálculo de Dose Interna para a avaliação da dose de acordo com os modelos propostos pela Comissão Internacional de Proteção Radiológica, ICRP (ICRP–Publication 78, 1997). Este procedimento de controle de dose interna é realizado rotineiramente assim como nos casos de suspeitas de incorporações e cujos resultados estão registrados e arquivados ao longo dos anos.

Internal contamination measurements are performed by the In Vivo Monitoring Laboratory (LMIV) and the results are analyzed by calculating Internal Dose for dose assessment in accordance with the models proposed by the International Commission on Radiological Protection, ICRP (ICRP-Publication 78, 1997). This internal dose control procedure is performed routinely as well as in cases of suspicion of mergers and the results are recorded and archived over the years.
