The aim of this article is to present the vulnerability of health at the borders. It is considered the geographical context and the social environment. We used the method for secondary data analysis with geographical border Brazil, Guyana and the data for the characterization of the sivep malaria endemic in the period 2003 - 2013. Aspects of health services and surveillance of malaria have been obtained in interviews and field work. Results: the vulnerability to malaria in Brazil, French Guiana border is related with the high population mobility and the difficulties of surveillance, as well as the border barriers to patient care, highlighting the need for cross-border cooperation and information sharing.
